And information orders red wine online

Red wine from the InterNet? That sounds enticing, and by online red wine dealers many good deals are offered. We show the way by the thickness of the offers: Much taste for little money.

Red wine in the InterNet?

In former times one went still gladly to the red wine dealer around the corner or even to the friendly winegrower, in order to buy red wine. But the times changed - straight for red wine consumers and red wine consumer inside -! The InterNet and the numerous on-line Shop s offer many good deals for favourable prices and entice in addition the red wine in the InterNet cheaply to order. But unfortunately one cannot open an on-line bottle, in order to hold a red wine sample and try a glass - that is the problem, if one orders red wine in the InterNet cheaply.

Therefore so some good deal is an absolute case of pure. For connoisseurs (thus more exact: Red wine connoisseurs) of red wine made of Spain, Portugal, Italy or France and Greece surrender from time to time bad surprises: They order the red wine in the InterNet, get a crate with bottles, which vollmundig as "Greek red wine" became to angepriesen, "Italian red wine" or "Spanish red wine" - and when opening the first bottle the large disappointment comes: The Greek red wine emerges as cheap Fusel, without taste, with small alcohol content, colorless, much too large remainder-sweet and thread flavours. Even if the label of the red wine is beautifully arranged and expensively works and promises much taste, all too often show up in the outlet no Johannisbeeraroma, but flat fehlfarben and false tastes. This false taste can astringieren the drinking experience.

Much cork, no fruit in the red wine

Differently than with the red wine the cork is somewhat more difficult in the red wine to seek out. Nevertheless is it there and makes red wine drunkard inside the life sometimes somewhat heavy. Red wine becomes gladly ranzig.

The topic is meanwhile already so old that it is nearly leidig: The cork, which is to protect, ruins contents. With low-priced red wines from the InterNet this phenomenon is to some extent again - nothing the less however always present. Isolated it probably always gave also in the red wine and weisswein from Spain, Italy or France to cork error, but it always lay within the range of the exception of the rule. Above all a completely clear cork error arose completely rarely. The question, which in view of accumulated and clear cork error places itself: How often actually are incorrect corks to it debt that red wines from the InterNet have simply no flavour or only wash, indistinctly, muffig or dull taste?

Elevated quality philosophy

Frequently - straight with costing - a more or less covered false clay/tone is registered. If the red wine worked blunt, drying and fad, one can talk also about a Kelter or another processing error. With the technical level and the quality philosophy of most winegrowers (accurate Keltern matures grapes/clusters, clean processing) these lack are to a large extent repaired. Individual samples nevertheless exhibit exactly these sensory negative attributes. If these are so clear the fact that no other impression ("corks enormously") has beside it place, is it still somehow a stroke of luck. The problem rises with all those border lines, where only a blunt, covered, foreigncertain clay/tone disturbs the flavour. Then the Verkoster bends to down-gradate and than more or less incorrectly judge this InterNet red wine around or other point.

Actually however a cork error puts behind in many cases. Good French, Italian, Spanish or Greek red wines, which were gekeltert cleanly and a full fruit flavour to have, do not step a cork error not with clarity used of the red wine to light, but leave often only disturbing Nebentoene to arise. Blunt overlaid flavour can be determined then or irritating, inharmonious notes. Characteristics such as delete sheet, papierig, strohig, blunt and covered should bring the Rotweinverkoster and drunkards however at least also on the thoughts, it could not around a red wine -, but a cork error concern.

Bottles and bottle forms

Red wine bottles - a topic for itself! From the Frankish Bocksbeutel to the French slim Bouteille all forms are represented in the InterNet. But caution! The form does not make yet the Bouquet. Often a nobler droplet than in aufwaendig arranged, with is coinages and expensive labels provided bottles in simple, simple red wine bottles. One notices that at the latest when opening the red wine. One opens the red wine, and which happens? A flat taste rises from the InterNet red wine into our nose, we already suspects that we were linked: We ordered a false wine from the Web.

Example: A Roux Pere & Fils Bourgogne from France, class 2002 - in the test

Since we do not preserve any commercial interests, we want to employ no price comparison here, but to only limit us to an analysis of the taste and the note (fruchtige note, drying, lovely).

Here we have a quite noble Burgunder before us, as he stands in beech. Only at few slopes in France, at slopes of the Moutonniere this red wine is cultivated in the year 2002. The Kelterungsvorgang takes more than 6 months, what goes expense the expense alcohol content. But waiting is worthwhile itself! Once more expects us an unusual spectrum at flavours: From black johannisbeere over green paprika up to fine vanilla flavours in the outlet and easy Tanin content the spectrum is enough. By connoisseurs the erdige, easily fruchtige sweet one, which herb rezent nevertheless the taste nerves affects, becomes estimated. This effect unfolds its flavour not only on the tongue (= keel of the taste), but particularly in the throat and in the Gurgel. When swallowing one feels a long nose (the so-called "Pinocchio", often falsely called "Pinoccio"), as it with Bordeaux, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Rioja sometimes occurs.

Result: Red wines from the InterNet and taste comparison

We do not advise against necessarily to order red wines in the InterNet. Good deals are to make again and again - good good deals even -, but some special offers are too cheaply and/or low-priced, thus not worth their price. To the emergency you go buying the red wine, which tastes to you to your red wine dealer around the corner and there!
